Kiddie Craft Ideas For The Fourth Of July

There are many fun crafts for celebrating the fourth of July. Here are some great ideas. Before that, you should try to think up your own by knowing about the day, the reason for it, the colors, and the fun involved. There are plenty of things that you can do to make this day truly amazing. Check out these crafts. You can figure out how to make them or get some help online.

A Pinwheel. A pinwheel shows how happy you are about the fourth of July. You can make a pinwheel by first folding a piece of paper into a star shape. You have to have a center section for placing a push pin through. You can let the kids color the paper in red, white, and blue before folding. You need some square sheets. Place the two sheets together. Then, cut the first sheet from the corners towards the middle about half way. Fold the corners to the middle, secure with push pin around a pencil at the back.

The Flag. Flags are the most traditional of ways to celebrate the 4th. For a simple flag, you can have your child just color a picture of a flag. Just stick on side of the flag to a popsicle stick and you’re all set!

Stars, stars, and more stars. Stars are another great way of celebrating Independence Day. Here have each child decorate paper stars on the front and the back in a wide range of designs. Let their creative juices flow! Red, white, and blue would fit the occasion best. Make a small hole on top of the stars so you can string them together. Hang these up. It makes a great decoration for around the table too.

You can find lots of fun craft projects for the 4th of July. In fact, you can make it a history lesson with a few great fact sheets, coloring sheets about the Founding Fathers and a wide range of other things. One thing’s certain. You will want the kids to enjoy themselves. Even simple projects can be a lot of fun for kids!
